About Us
Our Story
Movement for Christ Ministries began in 2014 as a small, heartfelt gathering of men meeting over breakfast to share their faith. What started as casual conversations at the Moyock Public Library quickly grew into something more—a diverse fellowship that brought together people from different local churches and even those without a church home. This growing community soon led to a weekly Bible study, laying the foundation for our ministry’s mission.

Our journey took a significant step forward when Mark Bope, one of our dedicated members, felt God’s call to leadership. Stepping into the role of pastor at Cross Trails Community Church, Mark led services at Triple R Ranch after a close friend and pastor moved on. Under his guidance, our Saturday evening services evolved into Sunday morning worship, marking a new chapter as we transitioned into our very own building.

The COVID-19 pandemic tested our adaptability, but it also revealed God’s provision. Shifting to virtual services, we connected with people from across the nation, uniting our community in ways we had never imagined. When in-person services resumed, we continued to share live streams on Facebook and YouTube, ensuring that everyone, near and far, could join in worship.

Today, Movement for Christ Ministries stands as a testament to God’s faithfulness and the strength of community. As we look to the future, we are filled with hope and excitement for the opportunities ahead. Guided by our commitment to share God’s Word and love, we continue to grow in spirit, service, and fellowship.
We can’t wait to see where God leads us next.

Our Beliefs
We are a nondenominational church committed to expository preaching, which means we focus on teaching directly from the Bible, verse by verse, to understand and apply God’s Word in its full context. This approach allows us to grow in faith, deepen our understanding of scripture, and center our lives around God’s truth without the influence of personal opinions or doctrinal biases.

We believe in the one true, self-existent God, the Creator of all things. God reveals Himself in three distinct and unified expressions: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Rooted in divine love, God’s ultimate plan of redemption for humanity unfolded through Jesus Christ.

We hold firmly to the miraculous truth of Jesus’ virgin birth, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born fully God and fully man. Despite facing every temptation, Jesus lived a life without sin, becoming the perfect sacrifice for humanity’s sins through His death on the cross. His crucifixion bore the punishment that we, as flawed and imperfect people, deserved, offering us the gift of redemption and reconciliation with God.

On the third day after His crucifixion, Jesus rose from the dead, conquering sin and death. His resurrection affirms that He is the only way to salvation and eternal life with God.

We believe the Bible is the divinely inspired and flawless Word of God, providing us with everything we need to live a life of faith, love, and purpose. It is our ultimate authority, guiding us in worship, discipleship, and daily living.

As a community of believers, we seek to live out these truths in our worship and our daily lives. Whether you are new to faith or have been walking with Christ for years, we invite you to join us as we grow together in understanding, love, and service, guided always by the unchanging Word of God.
